Trivia[]

  • As of September 2012, this episode from season 1 along with Two Idiots and a Baby and Grammy no longer airs on TeenNick (when Johnny Lewis passed away due to his accidental death as a result of a fall). However, the episode is still available on Paramount+.
  • This is the 2nd episode in which Josh is wearing an earring, with the first being Pilot. Also, this is the only episode in which you can see an earring in his right ear.
  • In this episode, the door to Drake and Josh's room is in a different direction then it is in later episodes. Plus, there is no couch in the room like in the later episodes.
  • Even though Josh is the one who makes the slithering beast of death remark about Megan's snake, she puts the snake in Drake's backpack, not Josh's.
  • This episode has six Nickelodeon light bulb hums, making this the 3rd consecutive time this has happened; this will go on through the remainder of the series.
  • The Brew Note never returns after this episode.
  • This is the first time that Megan calls Walter, "Daddy" in this episode of the show.
  • Kathy plays the recorder until a joke about putting a tuba in your backpack is mentioned aloud by her on behalf of Josh being in the hallway with Kathy until he cracks up about it.
  • This is the first episode where Josh uses emphasis in a sentence.
  • An outtake from this episode was using in the season 1/2 theme song.
  • This is the only episode that Robert (who is Megan's snake) pulls a prank on Drake and Josh.
  • This episode aired after Valentine's Day in the USA.

Goofs[]

  • In this episode, Megan is allergic to cats, but in Honor Council, Megan actually picks up a cat and puts it on Josh's face while he is sleeping because Josh is allergic to them as well.
    • Megan may have lied about being allergic to cats to fool Josh.
  • When Drake and Josh are in the hall of the school, you can see that the wet paper is yellow, but then, when Josh gets covered in paint, the paper is pink.
  • At the beginning, Drake's mouth moves slightly before his first sentence, most likely meaning he is saying something else before then or he mouths it.
  • At the end of the episode, the snake goes up Josh's left leg, but he starts shaking his right leg and looks down his right pant leg.
    • In that same scene he drops his jacket and backpack, but when he screams and runs away, he is holding his jacket and his backpack is on his back again.
  • In this episode, Josh says that oranges give him acid reflux caused by citrus, but in Pool Shark, Drake mentions that he loves oranges.
    • Josh may have either lied about the acid reflux, or he must’ve gotten surgery to cure it and they no longer affect him after a while.
